Hewlett-Packard (HP), finally made the decision, that it will open sources Web OS and not gone sell it. The Company said that they will not sell but contribute this to open source community to make the more elegant and better.
In an statement, HP CEO Meg Whitman, says "By contributing this innovation, HP unleashes the creativity of the open source community to advance a new generation of applications and devices." The OS was bought for $1.2 billions from Palm last year (2010) but HP did market the selling of smartphones very well and decide to not go with it. HP CEO, also mention desire that if the market is open for in the coming years, may be 2012-13, then they will go for Hardware, till then there will be no manufacturing from them.
