About Gregor Mendel
He born on July 20, 1822 and died on January 6, 1884, at te age 61, in Brno, Moravia , Austria-Hungary (now Czech Republic), from chronic nephritis. till January 6, 1884. He is also known as the "father of modern genetics". He study on peas and\ showed that the inheritance of traits follows particular laws. The
laws is named after him as Mendel's laws. As a student of biology you must had gon through the laws prosulated by Mendel. His Contribution was not recognized until the 20th century.His studies helps in the foundation of the modern science of genetics.
